In the 1990s, Roberta, seeking to pursue her passion for art, took early retirement from her position in Philadelphia. She embarked on a journey of artistic exploration, studying with individual instructors and participating in select classes and workshops at esteemed institutions such as the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Main Line Art Center, the Woodmere Art Museum, and the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle, Maine.
Roberta primarily paints in oil, experimenting with both abstract and representational styles. Nature, particularly the captivating landscapes of coastal Maine, serves as a profound source of inspiration, a place she often visits during her summer breaks.
Her artistic creations have been exhibited in various juried exhibitions, showcasing her talent to audiences across the United States. Notable venues include the Woodmere Art Museum, the Fellowship of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and the Philadelphia Sketch Club. Roberta has also participated in invitational and group exhibitions at esteemed galleries such as Artforms Gallery in New York, Krasdale Gallery in New York, Seitz Gallery in Harrisburg, and White Swan Gallery in Elverson, Pennsylvania.
Robertaβs work has garnered recognition and has been acquired by esteemed collections in the United States and Europe, solidifying her status as a prominent artist in the art world.
